Note

An implementation of a driver matching this compatible is available in drivers/pinctrl/renesas/rz/pinctrl_renesas_rza2m.c.

Description

Renesas RZ/A2M pin controller

The Renesas RZ/A2M pin controller is a node responsible for controlling
pin function selection and pin properties, such as routing the TX and RX of UART4
to pin 0 and pin 1 of port 9.

#include <zephyr/dt-bindings/pinctrl/renesas/pinctrl-rza2m.h>
example_pins: device_pin {
    device-pinmux {
      pinmux = <RZA2M_PINMUX(PORT_09, 0, 4)>, /* TXD */
               <RZA2M_PINMUX(PORT_09, 1, 4)>; /* RXD */
    };
};

Name

Details

pinmux

array

Pinmux configuration node.
Values are constructed from GPIO port number, pin number, and
alternate function configuration number using the RZA2M_PINMUX()
helper macro in pinctrl-rza2m.h

This property is required.

drive-strength

int

The DSCR register controls driving ability of the ports.
The PCKIO register controls driving ability of the CKIO pin.
The PSDMMC(0/1/2) registers specify the driving ability of the pins of the SD/MMC.
The PSPIBSC register specifies the driving ability of the pins
  of the SPI multi I/O bus controller.

Legal values: 0, 1, 2

bias-disable

boolean

disable any pin bias

bias-high-impedance

boolean

high impedance mode ("third-state", "floating")

bias-bus-hold

boolean

latch weakly

bias-pull-up

boolean

enable pull-up resistor

bias-pull-down

boolean

enable pull-down resistor

bias-pull-pin-default

boolean

drive-open-source

boolean

drive with open source (hardware OR)

drive-strength-microamp

int

maximum sink or source current in μA

input-disable

boolean

disable input on pin (e.g. disable an input buffer, no effect on output)

input-schmitt-enable

boolean

enable schmitt-trigger mode

input-schmitt-disable

boolean

output-disable

boolean

disable output on a pin (e.g. disable an output buffer)

output-enable

boolean

enable output on a pin without actively driving it (e.g. enable an output
buffer)

output-low

boolean

set the pin to output mode with low level

output-high

boolean

set the pin to output mode with high level

sleep-hardware-state

boolean

indicate this is sleep related state which will be programmed into
the registers for the sleep state

slew-rate

int

set the slew rate

skew-delay

int

This affects the expected clock skew on input pins and the delay
before latching a value to an output pin. Typically indicates how
  many double-inverters are used to delay the signal.
